I replaced a broken stainless steel fitting that runs from the top of my deck through the hull and into the cabin. It is used for the antenna connection. I noticed that rain is now dripping into the cabin. I believe I should caulk this. What kind of caulk? What are the prep steps? Caulking steps?
Thanks

Sikaflex 291 is a favourite for above and below decks when butyl bedding is not within reach (I only use the butyl on topside fittings.)
Cures fast, cleans up well, and stays flexible. You can also disassemble afterwards, unlike 5200.
