CD28 Andiamo Open House Sunday April 13 Dighton, MA

Post by GinoDelG »

Hi all,

We're going to be holding an Open House on Sunday April 13 starting at 10 a.m. to show off our recently restored CD28 Andiamo, which is up for sale. The Open House will be at Shaw's Boat Yard in Dighton, MA. Here are a few pictures, including new photos of the newly renovated interior. We painted the lathing white, which really brightens up the main saloon and forward cabin.

You can see a lot more photos and details of our restoration at our website http://www.buyandiamo.com

Come pay us a visit if you're free, even if you're not in the market for a new boat.

Might get some activity in the "for sale" forum.

That is one sweet looking 28.

Gino:

What brand, color, etc. did you use for the non-skid portion of the deck and the other areas of the deck :?:

I am planning to apply Awlgrip and Awlgrip non-skid ("Griptex") and am trying to select colors. I am particularly interested in the brand and color for the "tan" looking areas of your deck - what I think of as the "non-skid" areas.

Thanks very much.

P.S. She is a truly Bristol CD 28. :D

I used Kiwigrip for the non skid. It comes in a beautiful sand color. I get lots of positive comment on it.
