I just sold my Alberg 37 and am looking to downsize to a CD25D with a trailer in the Great Lakes area. Prefer very good to excellent condition. I am in Wisconsin. Please email info to george.mueller@aurora.org

This is a Cape Dory 25D that you should definitely consider.

I was fortunate to be aboard her in 2010. She is Bristol in every respect.
No trailer (easy to buy one from Triad Trailers) and not in the Great Lakes area, but she is a jewel in every way.

That is a very nice boat. However the cost of transport to Wisconsin would be a pretty high percentage of the purchase price. I am hoping to get lucky and find one closer to home.Sea Hunt Video wrote:This is a Cape Dory 25D that you should definitely consider.

Nice job. Where did you find her? Where will you be sailing out of? Enjoy.

I ended up going out to Boston and buying S/V Lady Jane, which is referenced in the posts above. I will be sailing her out of Port Washington, WI on Lake Michigan. I am looking for a trailer, however, because I want to take her up to the North Channel this summer.

Congratulations You will love S/V Lady Jane. Peter cared for her like she was his daughter. Very, very special.
I also know Peter was very concerned about the person who would take over care and custody of S/V Lady Jane. You must have really impressed Peter.
Even though I was not fortunate enough to acquire S/V Lady Jane, Peter has always helped me with maintenance issues and upgrades with S/V Bali Ha'i. He is a wealth of solid, "go to" information and advise. I am sure Peter told you what he had told me - "call with any questions; I will help in any way I can." He is a super guy
Best wishes on your Cape Dory 25D, S/V Lady Jane.
