Sunbrella

My girlfriend has graciously offered her sewing abilities to make me a main cover and other goodies for my Ty. Is there a better place to buy Sunbrella fabric other than Boat US or West? Or, is there a supplier who just has really good deals on canvas products? I started adding all of the stuff up like covers and awnings, etc and its really quite costly!

I have not compared prices but Sailrite, Inc. has Sunbrella. In addition they have a full line of canvas goodies such as snaps, grommets, slides, tools, etc. They also have kits and plans for many nifty DIY canvas projects. You may find them to be helpful, but again I have not compared their pricing to local canvas shops or the big catalogs.

I recently did over all the cushions on my Typhoon in Sunbrella material. I contacted the company at sunbrella.com and they sent me to outdoorfabrics.com I ordered from them for 13.99 a yard compared to 24.00 a yard at my local fabric store. They look great. I used furniture fabric for the inside and marine fabric for the cockpit.
Don't forget to buy the thread from them too. If you have any questions they were very nice at telling me everything I needed.
