Somewhere on this site I saw request for information on sheet to tiller self-steering. Today I came across "Self-Steering for Sailing Craft" by John S. Letcher Jr. The book discusses windvanes etc however there is a chapter on sheet to tiller self steering which should be all anyone wants. I was going to offer the book for sale however I think I want to keep it in my collection. I would be willing to copy the relevant pages or make a loan of the book. I'm not sure how to handle a loan of the book as Ben Franklin said "Neither a borrower or a lender be". However.........If you want to make a search for this book it was published by International Marine Publishing Co. of Camden Maine, 1974.

Bob - have the same book. Mine is copyrighted 1974 and also published by Int'l Marine. Believe it is out of print but frequently referred to as the classic on the subject. Valuable book. Roger
