25D Cabin Cushions FREE

I bit the bullet and had new cushions made. Nice.

I have the old cushions and foam and will give them to anyone for the coast of shipping

Main points:

-I think they are original.
-I removed the frozen zipper from one and washed it in the washing machine - cleaned up very nicely, but to be functional it needs a new zipper - this is beyond my skill level.
-I have a photo that shows the cushions - both the one with the washed cover and the others. I will send by email to anyone interested.

I will keep the cushions available until shortly after Labor Day.

I have no idea what shipping would be, I leave it to the recipient to figure that out - by approximation, I guess.

Cushions are located in Mattapoisett Mass.

Holy cow, you are the answer to my sailing prayers my friend, sign me up, I will take them!

I bought my 25 last September and the inside was a complete mold spore and as you can imagine, the cushions were a complete science experiment. They were the first thing to go into the trash, then I gutted and rebuilt the interior. Sleeping on hiking foam pads was getting old!

If you don't mind, please send the photo's and then we can figure out getting them shipped.

I think you have a CD 25. Dick K. has a CD 25D. I hope not, but I think the cabin cushions are different sizes - but I hasten to add that I am not sure of this. I have a CD 25D. Perhaps someone who owned a CD 25 and a CD 25D could post.

I recently found a part-time seamstress who works on sailboat cloths. She is going to make me new cabin cushion covers, etc. for S/V Bali Ha'i

My boat is a 25D - beamier than a 25 hence cushions would be wider.

I might be ok with that, at least i could cut them down modify the slip covers. If you hve the cushions handy, could you measure the of the settee cushions and the lenght of the Vberth cushions?

As long as they are close, I can make them work.

I don't think is going to work for you - there is no V berth in a 25D and I believe you can get specifications on the specs page on this site.

I think you are down to at the very best getting some old foam you can cut down - covers would be no good to you.
