Last year I made a video of our family trip to Ocracoke Island, NC (in our CD25). I had a great time making it and it gets the family excited about the next trip.
The lack-luster improvement of my videography skills is dwarfed only by my meager sailing skills but I decided to make a new one delivering my CD30 from NC to NYC none-the-less. I hope everyone else is have a great sailing summer!

Well done Adam! I remember when you bought your CD25. You didnt take the "easy" route to NY either, some real nonstop single handing, you have my respect.
Cool video too, I never think to do things like that. I am ussually too tired to care about broadcasting something later, must be all those years in the army that helps you there.

Thanks Russell,
It was a drop in the bucket in comparison to your cruising adventures!
Originally I planned to exit out of the Oregon Inlet, but it is very unstable since Sandy. After spending two day hove-to off the coast of NJ in March, I opted for the more predictable route single-handing. There is a certain attraction to being overnight at sea and thankfully I had yourself, Andy Denmark, Jim Davis to bring insight to my novice experience.
Keep me posted if your in the NY area!
Kind Regards,
Adam

Shark sighted at 3.53 on your CD25 video
It sure does look like a shark to me.
Both great videos. I must go sailing.
I did hit the pause button at 3.53 to 3.58 seconds in to your CD25 video.
Bottom left hand corner, in about 2 foot or so of water I am guessing.
Looks like a shark, has the overlarge shape of a shark.
But is this a shark, a trick of the eye, slick editing, a rocky outcrop?
