Re: Typhoon with trailer for sale in Connecticut
Looks like a very nice boat at a fair price. I just bought a 77 Typhoon, with Triad trailer, for $3600. But it doesn't have a roller furling jib, a nice outboard, or the mainsail system that you have. I immediately had to spend $200 on new trailer tires (they had been sitting for 10 years) and am faced with redoing the seacocks. Not to mention the elbow grease I will have to expend to get the hull and teak looking good once again. I might have done better with yours, in the long run. Best of luck!
Re: Typhoon with trailer for sale in Connecticut
Hi John, With this type of trailer, is it possible to float on and off, or is lifting with a travel lift required. How is your tongue weight?
Thanks.

No, you would need a tongue extension to float off. Triad used to do that locally I think but they moved their business down south. Tongue weight varies with travellift operators boat placement but I usually have probably 50-100 lbs.
