Post by Adam »

Looking for a used Typhoon trailer (like everyone else) in the Boston area. Willing to travel somewhat if need be...

They are a hard find and it seems most people want about the same money as new. I just ordered a bunk trailer (2,900 lb - no brakes) with keel guides, extended tounge, LEDs from Load-Rite (Fairless Hills, PA) for $1,800 and change with delivery to south jersey.

Look back further as there was a recent posting for a trailer in GA I believe.

Good luck

I, too, found it difficult to find a used trailer suitable for a Typhoon. I ended up having one custom built by Northlander Trailers in Machiasport, ME for $1795. They did a very nice job.

Adding to this thread, here is the Road King trailer I had made for 3200 with spare included and the 10' extension tongue which works like a dream. Highly recommend:

Perspective of the tongue:

I thought it was a bit pricey, however the service and attention to detail and service was very good.
