Good evening all
Just heard Kevin Kaldenbach (KF5KNT) aboard S/V Kerry Ann check in on the Maritime Mobile Net (14.300 MHz) from 28° 02.015W 090° 14.853N. My radio isn't working correctly so I couldn't shout back.

I know the polar ice cap has been melting, but isn't 90 the furthest north you can go?

Re: S/V Kerry Ann
I had a interesting 8 day solo across the Gulf of Mexico. Lost the auto pilot early on and transmission 165 miles off the coast of Texas. Found an abandoned sailboat along the way. Thanks to the HF radio I was able to report it. Also un expectedly sailed past a friend from Corpus Christi sailing solo to Florida. It is a small world. Thanks for listening in to 14.300 Bill. They are a great resource for cruisers.

Glad to here you made it in safely. I tried to give you a call several times but you must have been napping . I did hear the tail end of your checkin on the afternoon after you found the boat adrift but I wasn't sure what net control was talking about.
Fair winds.
