We have an air breeze marine wind generator that seems to have stopped working that I am willing to give away to someone who is handy and feels that they can fix it. It is a 200W maximum output wind generator with 4 summers worth of use on it.
It is no longer charging and I am not entirely sure why. When it is off (dead short across the generator), the blades spin much faster than they used to. When it is on, they do not spin much faster and are not getting fully up to speed. I have not diagnosed it any further than this as our power usage is so low that we are thinking of switching to a very small solar panel instead. My guess is that something is wrong with the electronics in it but I do not know for sure.
