I think around seven feet would do us well. Ors first but plan to add a 2.5 hp. I'm interested in the new Lehr propane , no carbs.
I bought the Lehr 2.5HP last year and I have used it about 6 times. So far very happy with it. I especially like the ability to use the small propane bottles for short hops, and if the need arises I can always hook up the BBQ grill canister.
I was planning on finding a hard dinghy so I bought the cheapest thing I could find:

I use it with the Lehr which will only accommodate about 75% throttle and I zip right along. It surprisingly rows very well too (short distances). Without a gas can to worry about my wife and I can tuck our 6 & 2 year old inside easily.
Kind Regards,
