I am looking to purchase a Cape Dory Intrepid 28. The boat is in excellent condition. The asking price is 20000 ? Would anyone have any idea if this is a fair asking price. Since only about 20 or so of them have been made I have been having trouble finding any info

Lyle - I have an Intrepid 9M, which is about a foot and a half longer than the 28. I bought it last year. It was in great shape, but needed a new main. The boat has been great! It is our first boat. We paid 19K for it. It's a 1979 model. Hope this helps.

Lyle - I have an Intrepid 9M, which is about a foot and a half longer than the 28. I bought it last year. It was in great shape, but needed a new main. The boat has been great! It is our first boat. We paid 19K for it. It's a 1979 model. Hope this helps.
