Height of Ty on Trailer

Does anyone know the vertical clearance needed for a Ty on a trailer? I'm wondering what size garage opening would be needed for indoor winter storage.

The best I can recall is about 9'. That assumes the mast is not on top of the boat. It depends on how high the bottom of the keel sits on the trailer. Measure from the cabin top to the water line. Add 3' for the keel. Measure from the trailer bed to the roadway. That should give you a good number.
