My CD 33 Flybridge PowerYacht was stolen from my slip on July 22nd. The boat was found by the CG beached in the back bay of another inlet.. I believe the thieves wanted the boat for "resale" since the took all my manuels, recent survey, and did not destroy any of the imbeded electronics but took only portable equipment. The reason I got the boat back was they ran into a bad storm in the AM and lost the cloak of darkness. Three weeks later I heard over the VHF that the CG was looking for another CD 33 Powerboat that was reported missing by owner from the N.Y area. It is possible that the thieves are shopping the CD membership list. I removed my home port location from the directory.
