Changing Sanitary hose from head to holding tank on 30 MK II

Post by Michael Heintz »

Does anyone who owns a Cape Dory 30 MK II ever change the sanitary hose from head to holding tank?

I've got the bunk pulled apart and now it seems I'll have to take out the water tank......has anyone succesfuly done this without removing tanks?

Thanks !!!!

The Artist is not born to a life of pleasure.
He must not live idle;
he has hard work to perform,
and one which often proves a cross to be borne.
He must realize that his every deed, feeling, and thought
are raw but sure material from which his work is to arise,
That he is free in Art but not in life.

Michael, the water tanks are not much or a problem. On raven, the hose ran under the cabinetry for the stove enclosure. Not really a problem except for the fact that it was completely enclosed and they had a couple of wire ties fastened under there.

That hose does not slide on fittings with ease either.

Have fun and be glad when it's over, Steve.
