We bought our Cape Dory 10 used about 20 years ago. We have used it 1-2 weeks a cruising season as our tender and otherwise it resides at our house covered. Our kids have "left the roost,' and it has not been actually sailed in 10 years. She is in great but not new condition: She was awlgripped 4 years ago. Thwarts varnished every 2-4 years. Rails done in Cetol every 2 years. Gunnel Guard renewed 2 years ago. Liner and boat washed after every cruise and stored under cover.
It comes with all of the pieces: rudder, daggerboard, sail (this is a cut to cape dory 10 specs sailfish sail (done by Thurston Sails) so it does have a sailfish logo on it) which has been used but 4-5 times and 7' Shaw and Tenney oars with leathers and oarlocks.
We get compliments at every port-o-call we go. Boat is in Rhode Island.
