How to navigate the message board....forum view (part 2)

From any of the discussion forums, as long as you're a registered message board user AND you're logged in, you can post new topics/message threads or reply to old ones.

If you're not sure whether you're logged in or not, just look at the board's set of navigation tools. If you're logged in, you'll see "Logout" followed by your username. If you're not logged in, that row of tools will include "Register" and "Login". You'll need to login.

To post a new message, just click on the "new topic" button.

Type a subject for your topic/message posting, then type the content of your message in the fields provided.

Click on "Preview" to see what your posting will look like, or click on "Submit" to post it to the selected forum.

The "preview" of you message will appear above the posting form. You can continue editing your posting in the posting form directly beneath the preview area.

Scroll down and click on the "Submit" button when you're finished with the content of your posting.

Clicking on "Submit" posts your message. Use the board's navigation menu to return to either the forum or the board's index.

The newest topics/messages always appear near the top of a forum, directly BENEATH any Announcements and Sticky messages.

Note the icons that appear on the view forum page. They are described at the bottom of the page for each forum. You can also move from page to page by clicking on a page number, or on Next or Previous, to get to other forum pages.
