ZPC1 Prop Zinc Source?

Post by Bob Ohler »

I have been using the Camp #ZPC1 prop shaft zinc on our CD30 for many years. It now appears that these are becoming more difficult to find. I found the ZPC3 on the net, but these would require cutting the tip off, I believe. The ZPC3 it also considerably more expensive.

Does anyone know where I can still buy the ZPC1 prop shaft zincs? Fawcett's in Annapolis had them, but they have moved and I recently read that they declared bankruptcy (again).

Thanks,

Bob O.

Bob,
I don't know anything about these guys, but they seem to have your zinc.

I just received a couple season's supply of acorn zincs for my 3/4" shaft: Camp ZPC-1 @ $8.03 each from Marineparts.com

Like others, I'd had trouble finding this size in stock, so I hope this helps.

Boatzincs.com has always had what I've needed and have thus far filled my orders quickly.

I called Boat Zincs (Boatzincs.com) today to see if I was getting more senile and had overlooked their site. They have the larger Camp acorn, zpc-3, but not the smaller zpc-1, which seems to be more rare.
