Irene hit Guilford yesterday. My CD25D had doule lines on, sails off yet the winds pulled a couple of cleats and she swing her bow onto the side of a larger sailboat taking off his rubrail and 6 feet of mine including toe rail. Stanchions bent and Tack Tick wind sender flipped off top of mast. Bow ran up onto dock when spring let lose gouging bow. Questions:
1. Anyone know where to get exact replacement teak rub and toe rails?
2. Source of replacement stanchions?
3. What is the bet way to fill the gouges in the gelcoat on the bow.
At least she didn't get holed!
Thanks for any advice

Sorry to hear about your damage Jim, you guys got hit alot harder than us east of you. Gouges not too deep can be filled with gelcoat and sealed to dry. Kits are available so you can match the color pretty close. If its deeper fill with epoxy first. You could check Marine Consignment in Mystic or Wickford for a stanchion. If you haven't been to either store its worth a trip just to see all the stuff they have. As far as the rails you will probably have to get some teak stock and make it yourself or have someone do it, I don't think anything close is available anymore. Mark
