A carefully maintained and very well built boat. Always in freshwater, she has spent her first years on Lake Michigan and Kerr Lake. She is currently in the water at Steele Creek on Kerr Lake. She has a Yanmar inboard diesel and a wheel helm. She also has a custom made trailer. While it takes a careful effort to load her on and unload her from the trailer, we have towed her with a ¾ ton pick-up truck significant distances with no issues. My father and I have owned this boat for many, many years. She is a 1984 model.
Two or three years ago we had the hull professionally soda-blasted and refinished as well as fully refinished the teak. We are cyclical on the teak – we sand and oil once a season. We keep the hull and topsides clean and also wax once a season.
She has some nice canvas, including a dodger, dorade vent covers, helm station cover, and winch covers. These are a few years old and in decent condition. Just having a few spots re-stitched this week.
Her main is in fair condition and she has a self-furling foresail in good condition. The is an extra 110 jib. She has a depth finder and wind meter as well as a CD player, VHF radio, and helm station mounted compass. While the lines and sheets are useable, my view is that they should be replaced in the next year or two.
Interior is original and in very good condition. Cockpit cushions are also in good shape. Head and water systems work fine. She has new screens for the ports.
She has a very long list of equipment, from the anchor to the barbeque. More details available if you are interested.
$21,000 for the boat and trailer. They are not separable. The trailer is made for this boat.
We will consider negotiating delivery within a reasonable distance.
