Has anyone out there tried a fully-battened main on a CD25? with appropriate cars & lazy jacks? If so, how has it worked ? ... enough difference to make it worth the effort? Just curious.

Hi,
Doyle makes a sail called "Stack Pack." It is a main with full battons, lazy jacks, and a sail cover built into the sail. I'm using their DuraSail with two full length battons up top and two very long ones down low. The Durasail is a bout half the price of the Stack Pack.

I had a fully battened main on my 25 and I now have one on my 28. I think it's a big improvement. At these sizes you don't need the cars. Lazy jacks are OK but not necessary. My opinion is that it's a much better sail.
