Traveler on typhoon?
Anyone install a traveler on a weekender typhoon? And how?

My Ty (sounds like an adult beverage!) also has a traveler located in the same place as the photos. However, it's about a 1970 vintage, looks very cool, but is not user-friendly. You have to unbolt the car, move the car, then bolt it back down. It's for appearance only.

I installed a Harken traveler on my TY. It is between the comings aft of the cockpit. I cut the track to fit. Marked the holes then drilled them oversized thru the first layer of the deck. Filled the holes with Epoxy then drilled the proper size holes thru the epoxy. I also put a large round access hatch in the transom and used it to get to the nuts.
As far as performance, I love the traveler.
