Hand grank handel for the smaller Yanmars

Post by jbsails »

Ahoy all,

If anyone is looking for a hand crank for the smaller Yanmars here is one on ebay. They normally go for $45-$70 bucks new. I got one last year, I think I paid about $14 plus shipping.

Note: They crank in reverse of rotation because the crank pin is the end of the cam shaft, which turns the opposite the crank shaft.

Nice find! At $10.50 + $6 shipping, that's a great buy so far. And WAY less than Boat US charges :)

I wonder if it is the same crank for the YS models as the 1GM's?

I got a new one for my YSE8 from Torresen Marine in October 2009, for $39.16, which included a $7.49 shipping charge.

This is item #104211-76790 on their invoice.

The hand crank is from a 2GM20 acroding to the person on ebay. I looked the Yanmar part number which is 128170-76790. This part number also is used on the 1GM10, 2GM20-F. It might work on other Yanmars, I am not sure but he did give the dimensions on the shaft size and rotation. Hope this helps....
