New Owner
So I dropped the hammer today and signed a contract on a CD 30 cutter, Hull #193.
I'll close the deal around April 25th, and will keep her at Sunset Marina in South Portland. Looking forward to a great summer... and making a list of all the things I want to change and fix.
Starting with.... Butyl Tape! Lots and lots of tape...

Cheers
Congrats on the new boat! Best of luck with it. I also think you will like the cutter rig.

After looking at a few, I decided that the intrusion of the mast in the cockpit space, additional rig to tune, and increased sailhandling just wasn't worth the loss in performance and ability to point.
Actually, the ketch's ability to shorten sail is a nice thing. But I think for my circumstances, a sloop is a good choice.
Now spending too much time researching things to change and fix. Time to get outside and fix the other boat- broken main DC disconnect switch.

Congratulations--me too.
Congratulations! I just closed on a 1985 CD 31 in Florida. The new home port is St Simons Island GA. Previously had a 25D.
