CD10 Repairs
The more I investigate my CD10 (hull #1316) the more I learn! The boat has a hull liner with molded nonskid but the liner has a gap between the hull and the liner. This gap continues to the centerboard trunk and to the main drain hole aft of the center seat. Do I need to caulk this gap to prevent water from getting into it or should I inject epoxy into the gap to seal it off? It doesn't seem to have been caulked in the past but...... Also, what does the centerboard trunk plug look like? I think I may need to make one to keep water from coming up the trunk while trailing the "10" behind my Typhoon. The flotation tanks have drain holes - but no plugs. Is there a source for these plugs? It seems like the winter project may take me into late spring but I am determined to have a finished product by May.

I don't know anything about liners, but as far as I know from the CD14, the drain holes take standard lever-expansion plugs, which pretty much any boat store should stock. You mention the main drain hole in the bottom of the hull - just two more like the plug for that (at least, on the CD14 I have, the holes are the same diameter and would use the same size plug.)
ie, this for $2.79 at Defender:
Just make sure the diameter is correct. Not that defender's web site mentions that detail, but I'm sure they can tell you if you ask, and it probably is.
