Calling all 25D owners! Good Old Boat magazine is planning to run a several-page feature on the 25D in its May/June 2001 issue. The editor, Karen Larson, is looking for color slides or prints of 25Ds under sail, at the dock, hauled out, and in scenic anchorages. She also needs good interior shots.
As you know, Good Old Boat does a wonderful job of illustrating its informative articles, with the help of Good Old Readers.
The reason for this early heads-up is to give northern 25D owners time this summer to take the pictures. The deadline for submissions is March 1 next year, but you'll get a reminder before then to send in your pictures. Rendezvous participants - Please note
For those of you who missed our 1999 New England Rendezvous - Good Old Boat was kind enough to support our gathering by providing several annual subscriptions and previous issues of their fine magazine as door prizes to our participants. Providing them with photos would be a great way of saying "thanks". Perhaps the folks attending this years Rendezvous could get a shot of several CD25's together.
