Does anyone have experience with selecting/installing a swim platform on a 1982 CD 33? Is there a platform perfectly suited to the curvature of the stern? My wife broke her wrist last December and has extreme difficulty managing the swim ladder.

Swim Platform for CD 33

Re: Swim Platform for CD 33
Look in the current issue of Sail Mag, last page. They have plans for a make-your-own swim platform. Not sure if it will work on the CD transom, but I think its worth having a look/see. Maybe you could do something on the side?

Re: Swim Platform for CD 33
Seven years ago I got a CD 30, new, and had a teak swim platform custom made by a yard. As I recall, it cost a couple grand at that time. It looks good. There are prefabricated platforms available that cost less but the curvature, as you note, would be problematical.Frank Vernet wrote: Does anyone have experience with selecting/installing a swim platform on a 1982 CD 33?
