teak has never been varnished and don't want to now either. What is best to protect and finish? Supply names of products and how to if possible.

teak finishing on typhoon

Re: teak finishing on typhoon
I have just used Sillken"s Ctol LIGHT, and it is great, unlike previous, C TOL which seemed flat and orange, this new light type has produced a beautifull finish on teak which has been recently stripped and lightly sanded. I KNOW I KNOW the purists are screaming...... but I was brought up on wooden sailboats and spent most of my childhood sanding and varnishing.
Three coats of C TOL no sanding between coats, has produced excellent results.
