Boat Trailer For Sale

Post by Oswego John »

Is Anybody interested in a boat trailer?

It is heavy duty construction, well made. Dual, tandem axles with brakes.

It will easily handle 6,000 lbs.

There is a bonus, a welded boat cradle that is bolted to the trailer frame.
The cradle is easily removed for winter boat storage. With the cradle removed, it becomes a welded steel flat bed trailer which can be easily converted to one's needs The cradle poppets are presently set up for a 25 ft. brand x.

The four tires have very few miles on them. (One trip from Rhode Island to Oswego, NY)

This trailer isn't a shiny factory production model. It was welded up at the local marina.

The poppets aren't Brownell or of other such competitor. They are constructed from 1 1/4" hardwall pipe that telescopes into 1 1/2" hardwall pipe. Their height is fully adjustable. The poppets are fully adjustable, as well.. They both swivel and pivot to any angle.

The trailer is located in Oswego, NY

If interested, send me a PM or post on this board.

Best regards,
O J

Would this work for a CD22?
How much are you looking to get for it?

Oswego John,

Is your trailer suitable for a Typhoon?

Gary,

This trailer would be perfect for a 22 footer. It was last used to transport a 25 foot brand X.

It is a strong trailer, built for over the road. It takes a 2" ball hitch

I have always given discounts to CD owners. I would like to clear $1,800. (You can always twist my arm a little) :D

Boat Trailer

mjohn,

It is time for me to reduce inventory.

Yes, this trailer is suitable for a Ty. As a matter of fact, I have one of my Tys sitting on another trailer that is very similar to the one that I'm selling.

It is built with an extra long tongue for ramp use. I forgot to mention that it also has a tongue jack.

It is a strong trailer with a welded steel frame, heavier than average construction. There is plenty of room to add a third axle if desired.

Actually, it would be possible to customize it with add-ons at a later date. Very adaptible.

I would consider delivering it to a surrounding state for a very reasonable fee.

Maybe I should take some pictures of it.

Best regards,

John, I am thinking that this trailer might be perfect for my wooden downeast 22' boat. It draws about 18" with a long keel and rounded hull about 8' beam or a little less. What do you think?

Hi Josh,

I'm not saying this just to sell my trailer, but the trailer is now set up for a shoal (shallow) draft sailboat. I think that it would be perfect.

As I previously mentioned, I always gave a discount to CD owners and readers.

I sent you a PM.

Where do you live?

Best regards,
O J

Josh,

I live in Oswego, NY, on the eastern shore of Lake Ontario. It is about 45 minutes NW of Syracuse.

A second PM will be on its way by tonight with more details.
