Wuersch Ship's Clock

Post by wsonntag »

The previous owner of my Cape Dory (1984) installed a Wuersch brass chiming ship's clock. Its nothing fancy, battery op quartz movement, its losing time even after a battery change. I very much like taking off my wrist watch and keeping time aboard by the chimes, I often don't hear the chiming on the half hour, that's okay too.

I dug up Wuersch Time Company of Fall River on the internet. Anyone had one of these repaired or know anything about this company, still in business? etc.

Thank you much in advance,

Bill Sonntag

I assume that you've attempted to speed up the mechanism to no avail? If not, I suggest you locate the 'speed' adjustment and adjust away..

Hopefully I haven't insulted you..
