Thanks for the heads up on the article. I might have to pick up a copy of Soundings and mail it off to Sea Hunt (not his real name) so that he can make copies and mail it out to everyone.
Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
I don't know if anyone else received their blubber but I put on ten pounds of my own since last summer's low weight so I am all set.
I will try to get a copy of Soundings. The Typhoon deserves the attention, Steve.

Tread Lightly on everyone...
Clearly we should all do our best to respect copyright laws, but
not everyone lives on the CD Board (although they should) and may not be aware of the recent posts about copying things. The threads do get a little sarcastic at times and that doesn't always translate into a clear statement for or against.
What the original poster left out (in his legitimate excitement) is that HIS boat is the Typhoon featured. He was just being very proud -- and too polite to brag directly. The SoundsOnline website for the Home Waters section is http://www.soundingsonline.com/news/home-waters . I suspect you will be able to read the article online next month if you, like me, cannot find a copy locally.
All other things aside, she is a beautiful boat, it is a nice article -- and she was once my boat too!

Great point
Bly,
You've mentioned a key point: Who would begrudge a proud boater sharing a piece about his own boat with friends and colleagues? I'd dare say Soundings would be more than happy with the potential boost to circulation.

You can subscribe online....
It's an east coast U.S. boating magazine/newspaper.sharkbait wrote:Please post the link when it becomes available. We do not get that magazine here.
If it's not available at your local news-stand, it's easy to subscribe. Just go to their home page at: http://www.soundingsonline.com/ and click on the "Subscription Services" link.
Soundings is also a great place to list your boat if it's for sale.
Hope this helps,
Cathy
