Typhoon vs Bristol Corinthian 19.5

I recently noticed that the Bristol Corinthian 19.5 looks very similar to the Typhoon. It looks like it may have an engine well, similar to the Ty Senior. The cockpit looks like the Ty Daysailor's. I've heard that there maybe a relationship between the Ty and the Corinthian. What do you think?
