After 2 years of part time work by a complete novice, I have restored my Typhoon. She was given to me by a boat yard in whcih she lay abandoned for many years. All bright work and most of the brass fittings had been removed. The help and resources from this chat board gave me the resources and confidence to bring her back. I bought new sails and a new motor and did most of the restoration work myself. My wife made cushions and picked the colors.
Anyway she is back and sailing beautifully. This was a fun project and very fulfilling. Thanks to all on this Board who helped me along the way.

Great job Doug- I'm just behind you, have 2 or 3 weeks before I'm done on a 1 year restore. I Put up the mast tues for the first time in almost 15 years. Mark

Haven't finished mine yet
Upper hull and deck has been painted and the trim is going on. Still need to paint lower hull and boot stripe. Anyone know where to get a bow rail cheap?
Notice the trailer has provision to support the mast at the front. Any suggestion for supporting the mast at the rear?

Sharkbait, rear mast support on the same rig you have was a milk crate and a fender tied to the mast and the stern cleats. (I added a second one on the port side).
You could make up a nice little crutch but the mike crate works pretty good. Haven't you done enough already?

I can't believe all the work you have done. I have some soft spots but nothing like the rot on your deck. Nice work. You are really close to launch with plenty of summer left. Enjoy.
