Worked here, too, toute suite (after uselessly banging on the door for half an hour en anglais).

I got a chuckle out of "zoomer/dezoomer la carte" - zoom, zoom, alors!

... so I used my cell phone for the last several wind changes, also in French.

Flight

Neil,
Hope your flight took off on time; assuming direct from Logan to Fla.

Glad I do not have to travel anymore.

Took off on time, landed on time. Needed to change planes in Charotte, which was uneventful other than I changed and my checked bag didn't. The airline found it and delivered it, though.

Hope Santa was good to everyone!

Big Buoys!

Post by Duncan »

Good thing it's Saturday - took me about two hours to round the far buoy of the West Australia Gate.

Those things are HUGE - 10 miles across. Anyway, I clipped it a little bit, just shaving by, and didn't get credit for passing it. That meant I had to do a 360 north and west of the buoy before it would turn green, and I lost about 600 places.

I've still come up about 80,000 places, though. :)

Congrats on getting around--the hard way! And, you know, gaining 80,000 places isn't too shabby

I'm starting a January thread, by yall's leave.

Cheers,
Judith
