I have the same table you have, Steve and was wondering the same thing. BUT if you fold it and hinge it up so it stows vertically against the port bulkhead, don't you essentially block up some valuable vertical space you might want to use for clock/baro/shelves/alcohol lamp.etc.etc.etc.???

Would love to hear some comments from owners of later CD27's - how they set up their tables, and what they're like when stowed....
for now I just remove the table and stow it in the hanging locker - takes 12 seconds max - underway it makes a fine nav table anyway :)

You are correct about the table being in the way. What I do is use only one leg (the one closest to the bow). Although it is not quite as stable, I swing it over the port settee and that gives me plenty of room to pass the table to go forward and yet it does not interfere with taking up space in the locker or being on the bulkhead. I made a plug out of wood to put in the hole where the now missing leg should be so when you step on it, you don't get hurt. We don't use the table that much anyway. - Bob Miller
