When I hauled Sprite this year, I noticed that the mast step gasket (a fairly flat o-ring) was pretty tired. Could anyone refer me to a supplier for these? If they a "make it yourself" kind of thing, could anyone fill me in on materials or dimensions.
Thanks,
Jeff

"O" Ring
Jeff,
Mine did not come with one, but I put a large water filter "O" ring,
in the interface.

Mast step gasket
This is a new one on me because I've removed the mast and all associated hardware, but I never saw any kind of gasket. What is it needed for? Where does it go?

O Rings
Stan,
I doubt if Cape Dory put any type of gasket between the deck and the mast base.
Many here would probably consider a gasket redundant.
I'm just philippic against water intrusion, and the O ring I used is outside of the through bolts; and that interface is thoroughly caulked.
