I have a question about the PM mechanism.

When I create a PM either from a forum posting or as a reply to a PM I get a message that indicates my message has been sent and then my message is placed in the Outbox.

At some point in time the message then is placed in the Sentbox. This morning I created a message and it is still in the Outbox. If the message is in my Outbox has the recipient seen it or is it still in limbo?

I just saw a similar post that may have my answer, if the mechanism is that a message stays in the Outbox until it is read by the recipient I don't have a problem with that.

No need to respond if that is the case.

Yep, the message needs to be read for it to update from Out box to Sent.
