CD 25 Dodger

Post by Paul W. »

Does anyone know where in South Eastern MA can I have a dodger built for my Cape Dory 25?

Is there a manufacturer that has the design to build one w/out having to see the boat?

Thanks,
Paul

Paul, I just purchased a 1977 25' that was storm damaged. I've been putting together a rehab budget that includes a dodger. While doing my research on the net, I came across http://www.sailrite.com. On this page under "on-line catalog" they sell dodger kits.

Paul,
I know that Island Nautical Inc. has patterns for the Cape Dory 25. I have not actually purchased from them but they say they can do it. They build it and ship it to you for self insatallation (which they claim is easy). They are in New York and I believe are owned by Hild sails.
