CD-36 Windsong of Marion - Anyone Know Her?

I am slowly working towards gaining permission to publish a Nautical Quarterly article on the CD-36 on the CCDOA web site. I have communicated with the owners of the NQ assets, the authors, the editor, and made an attempt at communicating with Robinhood. All we are missing is a release on the photos. The article was published in the Summer 1982. The boat is Windsong with a home port of Marion which is in Massachusetts. I can forward a photo to anyone who thinks they may recognize the crew from the back.

Although I am the owner of a CD-36 (Jazman #68) on Cape Cod,and have spent countless years sailing in the Marion area, I don't have any info on Windsong. I would strongly suggest contacting Burr Bros. Marine in marion. They have been in business for a long time (at least before 1982), and have serviced and mainatained Cape Dory yachts for some of my friends. They are also located on Marion harbor. I'll bet they will know at leats one previous owner of the yacht in questtion. I look forward to the article.

When we were on Block Island last June (26-28th), the town moorings had at least six Cape Dorys, including, I believe, a 36 named Windsong (I could easily be wrong, but the name does ring a bell). The Block Island Harbormaster should be able to help identify the owner.

Dear Ken: Windsong was a Cape Dory owned charter boat that was also used for brochure photos. The people aboard are all Cape Dory employees (at the time) thus had signed off on the photo shoot.
