Does anyone know what the exact thickness of the Typhoon
deck in the vicinity of the winches. I am planning to mount
Shur-Luc ladder catch Brackets for a Garelick Model # 14039 swim ladder, with attached stand-offs. Have teak Bases &
Backing plates made up. I don't want to drilled holes until
I know how long the bolts have to be.

If you know the location go ahead and drill a hole to determine deck thickness. My guess would be 5/16 - 3/8, maybe a tad thicker if near the toe rail.

another idea
How about removing a bolt off the winch base to check it for length.
Also, My Ty has 3/4 inch wood backing plate beneath the deck at he winch.

Thickness
Take out one of the bolts from the genoa track. Take a look at the nut before you do to see how much bolt protrudes below. Since they go through the flange on the hull/deck joint it may be slightly thicker, but you should be able to judge by looking from below decks. Make sure you put some polysulfide or the like on the bolt when you put it back.
