Hi Len,

In order to use the [Img] tags, the URL for your photo (I'm assuming it's for a photo) needs to end in one of the following file extentions:

.jpg
.gif
.png

If it doesn't, and yours doesn't, you need to use the [URL] tags instead. Using the [URL] tags will create a LINK rather than displaying the photo within your posting. So folks will just have to click on the link to see the photo.

So try it again, and this time copy/paste the URL into your posted message, then select (highlight) the entire URL, then click on the [URL] button.

Cathy the url was copied from the particular photo in the Picassa album; I'll take another look and try again. Thanks Jimmy Buehner

There's nothing wrong with the URL, you just need to use the [URL] button instead of the [Img] button.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, you CANNOT use the [Img] tags unless the URL ends with one of the following file extensions:

.jpg
.gif
.png

Your URL does not end with one of those extensions so you MUST use the tags instead. So after you've copy/pa ... 2858955298

Just click on it and you'll see that it works and this is how it's supposed to work.

I am not Len, I am Jimmy- the one who's been in the woods too long. We are referring to posting photos which I understand must be on a URL and end in jpg. or similar. Here's what we've been talkin' about, to wit:

You will find that this only works correctly if you're typing at the end of the message, not when you're inserting text into the middle. In the latter case, you'll have to enter the formatting codes by hand.

That is the above beginning with "You will find......" and ends with " formatting codes by hand." is not clear. Jimmy, not Len.
