FeNIX

Post by MarkN »

As I am still quite new to sailing I frequently read (but have little to offer) the postings and chats and have learned much. I've especially enjoyed "sailing" with Fred on his circumnavigation with FeNIX but have not seen any posts since early May - can anyone provide an update?

I'm wondering too...

The last time we heard from Fred was just a few days before that typhoon hit Myanmar. Hopefully Fred and FeNix weren't anywhere near it when it blew through and he just hasn't had a chance to give us an update.

Fred was in the Seychelles last time he posted, which is not even remotely close to Myanmar (thats like thinking a hurricane hitting Florida would hurt people in Africa).

His next few stops were to be in pretty third world places, I suspect internet has just not been available. We may not hear from him till he reaches South Africa.
