CitriStrip on bottom paint??

Just wondering if anyone has any experience using CitriStrip non-toxic stripping gel (available at the big orange home improvement store) on bottom paint? Price is reasonable, just wondering how it might perform?

I tried it when stripping an unknown ablative bottom paint and it didn't work at all. I had to resort to a heat gun and scraper. It did however work well on the topside paint. Chris
