The boat's getting splashed this week

I just learned how to put photos here.

So we're looking forward to more of this. Last fall off Hart-Miller Island in Chesapeake Bay. Pooles Island strait ahead, and if you look really closely, you can see the beautiful fall colors.

Another boat ready to be splashed

Kids have proposed naming this one "Butters", after a character in SouthPark. Don't ask me why. It is a Shellback dinghy 11' 2" long and has a sailing rig. Hardest part building it was making the spars. From a kit supplied by Chesapeake Light Craft in Annapolis. If we build another one it would be the Passagmaker dinghy, which has a nesting option.
