And I'll third that....
It's finally cold down here in central Texas. mid 20's at night.
Over the Christmas holidays we had several days with winds in the 20's and temp in the 60's. Best day was 25-30 sustained with gusts to 45!! It was 55 so the dodger was a blessing. I even had on long underwear! Did I mention I really hate being cold!!! My wife and I had a great ride. Only three boats out including our little 25D. The other two were fully crewed race boats about 40 foot....Every time I take Seraph out in high winds she amasses me. Especially how calm she lays hove to. Or in this case with no sail up laying ahull. I was very surprised how close to the wind Seraph would lay. We would zig zag from 45-80 off the wind. I believe that our dodger was standing in for the main and the bow just falls off like always.... so she tended to act like we were properly hove to with sail up..
