Wow...that's pretty radical, Russell

Just curious - why did you not elect to pull the bronze roller pin and simply replace the rollers with new ones?

Looks like you got the same anchors set up as we do.

It did not really strike me as all that radical, install is pretty simple, just thru-bolted to the bowsprit.

I spent a lot of time looking at available rollers on the internet and looking at other boats roller setups. I just concluded that this setup would fit my needs well, its robust, off the shelf, and designed to fit a wide variety of anchors.

Tim,

I would love to see some pix of a CD36 ketch. Man, you can't get much rarer than one of a kind!

CD 36 Ketch pictures

Anyone who would like a picture, please send me your e-mail address and I'll send one to you. Russell offered to post an older picture I have for me since I don't have a URL that can host it for me. I'll take a more recent picture for you.

My wife has roots in Maine as well, we still have a home in the Belgrade Lakes area, and may end up there after our cruise. Kind of like taking our Cape Dory back home if you will.

A "one of a kind" may be good or bad thing, I'm not sure. Seems to me they could have made it an option because people seem to like the look of a 36 ketch - we sure do!
