CREW NEEDED

I am currently sailing my CD33 LaVida, down the east coast bound for the Bahamas and points south.

Around the end of Nov. I will be in the Norfolk,Va - Northern North Carolina area and am looking for cost sharing crew (no more than two at a time) for parts or all of the remaining voyage.

I intend to be in Fl in mid-december and cross the Gulf just after the first of the year.

LaVida is ocean equipped and a very sea worthy vessel. Your level of experience is not important, but a respectful attitude of the sea is.

Mike: if you happen to make it as south as Miami, I would love to meet you and La Vida. I own Bandolera II, a 1981 CD-33. It's always great to see how other sailors have their boats. It's a nice sail from here to the Bahamas. I'll be following your trip. Good sailing.

I look forward to meeting you on my way through. At the moment I am in Finland doing a lecture tour but should be back on LaVida by the 21 of Nov., then it´s a straight shot down from Norfolk.

BTW, I am looking for a used whisker pole for my 33....any ideas where i might find such an animal in your area?
