Sadly, Remedy is in need of a new stern rail (and part of the starboard rub rail, and the taffrail trim, and the mount for the dinghy outboard). It seems something went "bump" in the night, or over the weekend, or during one of the oft-observed sail-through-the-mooring-field adventures we see here in Bristol. (Note to the other boat: If you had just left a note, you would have at least spared me the additional incovenience of having to file a police report about the incident
).
I am hunting for a replacement stern rail and getting quotes for the insurance claim, but also looking at some upgrades, including a boarding ladder (although I am not too fond of the stern as a location for this) and seats.
I would appreciate photos or descriptions of any such upgrades on other CDs, and sources if you have them.
