Hardware store?

Post by David Hest »

I bought a spare brass garboard plug for my Ty daysailor in the plumbing section of my local hardware store. Plugs in bronze and other materials are listed at Defender and Jamestown. As a freshwater sailor, I don't know the ins of outs of brass vs bronze for this application. Hopefully others can comment on this. Good luck.
